The China Studies in Beijing Program warmly invites you to become a host family for "PKU Family Feast."

According to the agreement between Peking University and Stanford University, aimed at fostering youth exchange and educational collaboration between China and the United States, we will be hosting 20 Stanford undergraduate students at the Stanford Center at Peking University for the "China Studies in Beijing Program" from early April to early June this year.

To deepen the interaction between students and faculty from both universities, we propose organizing the "PKU Family Feast" activity during the program. This initiative involves inviting select Peking University teachers to host Stanford University students at their homes on weekends. It offers an opportunity for participants to enjoy Chinese cuisine and engage in relaxed, friendly discussions within a family setting.

Participating families will host two Friday night dinners on April 19th and May 24th. During these gatherings, they will welcome 1 to 2 Stanford students to their homes for dinner or join them at a restaurant. This interaction aims to facilitate the sharing of learning and life experiences, fostering mutual understanding and friendship.

We hope that this activity will encourage greater exchange and camaraderie between students and faculty from Peking University and Stanford University, contributing to the promotion of friendly relations between China and the United States.
