Yves Charles Zarka, a famous contemporary French political philosopher and philosophy professor at the Université Paris Descartes, visited Peking University from November 2th to December 9th and carried out teaching activities. Prof. Zarka offered a course series around the topic of "the Basic Theory of Western Political Philosophy", designed for the the needs of graduate students in the PKU Department of Philosophy. Additionally, in the afternoon of November 9th, Prof. Zarka delivered a public lecture entitled ”The EU’s Ideal and Crisis”.
